Whanau Workshop: Roots Make Shoots

May 6 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

| $5

seedlingsSustainability Trust’s workshops for kids and their parents will get the whole family exploring sustainability in a fun, practical, hands-on way. Join our experienced educators for one-hour workshops at our central city EcoCentre with a wide range of creative themes from backyard bugs to recycled art.

The workshops are aimed at children aged three to 12 and their parents – fun for the whole whanau. Whenever possible we repurpose found and collected materials, but we ask for a $5 koha per child to cover other costs.

THIS WEEK:

Roots Makes Shoots: Plants don’t just grow from seed. Join us to learn how to turn clipping into a plant. ‘Cutting’ out the germination and going straight to healthy roots!
