Get the basics on composting and hear about the options for all homes no matter how big or small – worm farming, Bokashi bins and hot composting.
November 18, 10.30am to 11.30am: Beans and bees
Learn how to get started on outdoor gardening – learn how to plant everything herbs and veges, how to take care of them, and what will bring in the bees.
December 2, 10.30 to 11.30am: Basil and begonias
Get your indoor garden started – learn about the art of keeping house plants alive, which herbs will do well in the window sill and how to give the room a little more colour.
December 16, 10.30am to 11.30am: Plant problem-solving
Learn how to troubleshoot common plant problems such as white flies and scale, how to improve soil quality, regenerate neglected house plants and how to make cuttings to replant.
